Rodrigo Flores
Rodrigo Flores was born in Buenos Aires. His musical family exposed him to tango early in life. At the age of 16 he began his serious pursuit of music, when he started studying with Cristina Pérsico. At 19 he was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston USA to study voice & composition. Whilst at Berklee he studied with Mili Bermejo, Luz Bermejo, and Jan Shapiro. During this period he participated in the International Folk Festival at Berklee & Megaexposición Tango at Palais de Glace in Buenos Aires.
In 1998 Rodrigo moved to Barcelona Spain where he established himself in the tango scene singing with musicians Marcelo Mercadante, Horacio Fumero, Olvido Lanza and José Reinoso. He has participated in many different Tango Festivals including; 2nd Festival Internacional de Tango de Málaga, 1st Festival Tango Para Vos & the 2nd Mas i Mas Festival.
Rodrigo performed in the 2008 production of Astor Piazolla opera María de Buenos Aires, Directed by Pep Oriol in Barcelona. He regularly returns to Buenos Aires to perform tango.
As well as participating in numerous musical projects, Rodrigo currently teaches voice at Taller de Músics School in Barcelona.

Javier ‘Cardenal’ Dominguez
Javier Cardenal Dominguez, was born in Buenos Aires, he started his singing career when he was 26 years old. He has appeared regularly at the most immportant tango houses in Buenos Aires; Café Tortoni, Café Homero, Club del Vino, La Esquina Carlos Gardel & Café de los Angelitos.
Cardenal has toured internationally including appearances in Germany, Japan & throughout South America. He has performed in the Casa Rosada (the Presidental Palace) in Buenos Aires for the Argentine President, at the Congreso de la Nacion (National Congress) as part of the 70th aniversary of Carlos Gardel’s death, he is a regular at the International Tango Festival in Bunoes Aires & many other festivals in Argentina.

The Dancers

Nelson Celis & Yanina Fajar
Yanina & Nelson have danced together for 12 years. They are well known around the Tango houses of Buenos Aires, performing regularly in a number of prestigious venues including Cambalache, La Ventana and Galeries Pacifico
and have also made numerous television appearances in Argentina. Their professional life as tango dancers has taken them around the world.
They have performed in Italy, Spain and Peru at the International Festival of Dance and taken part in tours to Paraguay, the US and Japan. In 2005 they joined Tango Fire.
Yanina is the Director of Choreography of the group tangos & Nelson her assistant.

Mauricio Celis & Ines Cuesta
Ines Cuesta studied Corporeal Expression and Rhythmic Dance before spending seven years studying the art of tango.
Mauricio Celis studied tango for eight years and appeared in the acclaimed Tango Mitos, Opera Bay.
As a couple they have performed in several Tango houses including Cafe Tortoni, The Querandí, Taconeando, Esquina Carlos Gardel and Cambalache.
They have toured to Perú, Spain, Italy, Brasil, Paraguay and Chile.
Ines & Mauricio joined the show in 2005.

German Cornejo & Teresita Sanchez Terraf
German studied tango from the age of 14. Teresita graduated from the School of Ballet in the Argentine province of Tucuman. They both learnt classical, contemporary dance & tango with many of Argentina’s most respected teachers including Alejandra Mantiñan, Mercedes Serrano, Mónica Fracchia & Gabriel Misse.
German also studied jazz ballet & acrobatics. He has received many awards for dancing tango most notably Nuevos Talentos de Oro, Concurso de Baile de Oro awarded by the television programme Susana Gimenez on the TELEFE Channel in Argentina and World Champion of Tango in 2005. Teresita was awarded dance scholarships from The Juilliard School New York, the Joffrey Ballet School and Steps on Broadway studying modern dance and jazz with respected teachers Hector Zaraspe, Peff Modelsky and Whillem Burman.
They have both performed at famous tango houses & milongas in Buenos Aires, Café Tortoni, Señor Tango, Mambo, El Viejo, La Viruta, and Confitería Ideal. German first joined Tango Fire in 2006 and this is Teresita's first tour with the company.

Sebastian Alvarez & Victoria Saudelli
Sebastian & Victoria started dancing together in 2000. They have danced in some of the most prestigious Tango Housesin Buenos Aires including the Hilton, Dos Meses & Esquina Carlos Gardel. They have toured together internationally since 2000 performing in Egypt, Spain, USA, Russia & extensively throughout Central & South America.
Sebastian & Victoria have danced tango in some of the worlds best hotels. They joined Tango Fire in early 2008.

Juan Milizia & Florencia Roldan
Florencia & Juan have been dancing tango together for 4 years, previously studying contemporary dance, jazz and ballet. They have studied with many of the renown tango dancers including Robert Herrera, Natacha Poberaj, Claudius Gonza'les & Melina Brufman. The couple appeared in the worldwide television broadcast of the final program of Diego Maradona’s La Noche de 10, performed at the gala night of the Argentinean musical “Premios Carlos Gardel a la musica” and the Martin Fierro Awards in 2006.
Florencia & Juan have danced in the most prestigious tango houses in Buenos Aires including “Viejo Almacen” “Che Tango” and Palace Tango , plus many of Argentina’s most important venues; Theatre Astral, and the Centro Cultural San Martin, They have toured to Italy to conduct masterclasses and to dance in tango exhibitions in various cities including Milan, Bologna, Firenze, Ponte Dera, Pissa and Bari. In 2006 they were runners-up in the world tango championship.
Florencia & Juan first toured with Tango Fire in 2006.
